Choose an instrument and chart interval

Keep the selected market and observation interval aligned as you navigate.

1. Start with the market category

Open Markets and choose Forex, Crypto, Indices, Stocks, Metals or Commodities. Category links narrow the list to that market group. If you are looking for a particular instrument, search by its symbol or name and check the full name beside the result.

Before following a result, read its quotation context. Two instruments can share a currency while representing different products. A company-linked perpetual contract is distinct from a company share, and an index level is distinct from a single company price.

2. Select an instrument and check its context

Open the instrument page to read its quotation basis and the considerations for that product. Use the workspace entry link when you are ready to continue. If you need to sign in, the link keeps the selected instrument and supported chart interval in the account destination.

On the homepage, use the instrument selector to choose a category or search for a symbol. Its market charts follow the selected instrument. Check the visible symbol after making a selection so that you interpret the quotation and chart for the market you intended.

3. Choose the candle interval deliberately

In the workspace, choose from the supported 15-minute, one-hour, four-hour and daily intervals. Each candle summarises that interval. A shorter interval shows more detail over a smaller window; a longer one combines activity into fewer, broader observations.

Changing the interval does not change the selected instrument or make the most recent observation newer. Compare charts at matching intervals when you want to compare their shape. Keep daily percentage change separate: it describes its own reported period, rather than the candle interval you selected.

4. Recheck after switching or returning

After selecting another instrument, read the symbol and quotation unit again. Keep the new chart separate from observations for the previous instrument. Missing history does not mean that the selected instrument has no price quotation, because price and historical candles are separate views.

When you return through account entry or a saved instrument link, check the interval as well as the symbol. If a link does not carry a supported interval, the page uses its default. Review the visible selection before interpreting the chart or preparing an order.

5. Move from selection to order review

Keep selection and submission as separate steps. Choosing a market or changing its chart interval does not place an order. Review direction, order amount, leverage and protection settings in the workspace before you submit, then check the account result.

  • Confirm the category, full instrument name and symbol match your intended market.
  • Confirm the candle interval and observation time before comparing charts or daily change.
  • Review order inputs again after a market change; never infer an accepted order from a chart update.
